It was 11 years ago when my then 5 year old caught this 20 lb striper on Lake Lanier. The next month we started a tradition of going to Lake Altoona on Thanksgiving morning to fish before lunch with my wife's family. We have gone every year since and we always enjoy our trip. We usually put in at Kellogg Creek or Little River but I always ask for suggestions from you guys before we go. We have a couple of weeks but I thought I would reach out to you again to seek where the stripers might be eating this year. I am not locked in to places we have fished in the past just want to have the best shot at catching and releasing some fish.
