We had two trips booked offshore one got cancelled due to winds and rough seas but my buddies trip they got their limit of some really nice red snapper and two grouper including this monster.
Didn’t get our G3 out two much just not enough time. We did go out flounder gigging one night and got this doormat and one other smaller one.


Our shark fishing went very well two hammerheads one nurse and one black tip. All were released unharmed.

seen your sharks post elsewhere nice catch. That flounder is a beast good eating there. We was supposed to go out two Friday’s ago but the boat had other plans and then by time that was fixed the sea was rough so we changed our mind

Yeah that post isn’t there anymore! Got tired of beating that dead horse.

Great catch. My son wants a hammerhead in the worse way. His problem is lack of patience.

What were you using for bait? Stingray?

First one was caught on stingray. Second one was on a snapper head we saved from the offshore trip.

Those dorsal fins on big hammerheads are huge. Did that new fishing shark from shore program/license start yet in FLA? Got an email about it recently but don't recall the details. I think it's more of an educational "permit".

Yes educational doesn’t cost anything. Watch the videos and take a ten question test. Went into affect 7/1/19. Go get em!
