anybody goose hunt?

this was an afternoon hunt. 35 geese in this picture, camera man didnt think we wanted all the geese in the picture!

the guy int the picture with me looks like a retard in the picture, but it is actually not that bad in real life!

limited out 4 people in less than 30 minutes !

sorry the pictures arent that good..... we were running out of light

we got soaked that afternoon...... hurricanes was just coming in

I wish I had a golf course to hunt em on. A goose in a field or on the fairway is stll a goose. They don't take long to get educated no matter where you're hunting them.

the last day of the season you should have saw how skidish they were........ i think i only set down like one or two flocks, they all wanted to circle and not set down........ to say the least, majority of the shooting was while they were circling !!!!

and i missed the darn snow goose that i have been tryin to kill the past 2 years...... i got one lone snow goose in with all my canadas and it is hard as crap to pick him out, and he came in with a group of about 6 and he wouldnt come low enough so i at least wanted to try and pop off one shot at him....... so i unloaded and missed

none of the golf courses will let you hunt em.... youd think they wanted em gone

Most people do want them gone even the golf courses, they make a heck of a mess. Actually got to hunt on one a couple of years ago. A friend of mine knew the owner and he was sick of em. We got about 6 but had to cut it short the golfers started showing up. This year a guy called me that lived on Lainer wanting me to thin em out but I went up there and decided I couldn't hunt there because of the 1000 ft. regulation. Ended up finding a island to hunt with plenty of distance but when we showed up the geese had roosted there and we spooked em off. After that didn't see any more flying that hunt. Best hunt we had this year was in a field, birds decoyed right in.

if i ever run across that fella i am just gonna walk up and knock the..... well, you know outta him!!!!! not gonna say anything as to why..... i figure he should know why

if i ever get a goose mounted i will not even let him look at it!!!!!
the sad thing is them birds are starting to stink :speechles
