Just curious if anyone on here had been chasing any grouse in Ga or the Southeast? I have always wanted to try grouse hunting and was hoping to hear if anyone was flushing any around the South. We were up around Robbinsville, NC last month and I heard some drumming while we were sightseeing.
There is a guide that books grouse hunts on local public land near Asheville and I was thinking of booking a day with him to learn about grouse hunting in the South.
If anyone can hunt on Thursdays and wouldn’t mind having a newbie tag along, I’d love to try it a few times!
