Really? I thought it stood for Voices of Independent Prosacersons. You sure?

You also know that this thread is going on 15 years old and that a lot of copper has been changed out for that fibous stuff since then. And a significant portion of the traffic on VOIP goes wirelessly at some point in the transmission. And - yes, yes they have rewired entire cities and counties and some countries in the last 15 years. VOIP don't go over the Ma Bell lines so much any more like mine and many others did 14-1/2 years ago but you knew that, didn't you.

Yeah, I saw when it was started. Doesn't change the facts on the ground. Replacing old wiring laid last century is not the same as wiring in a new network.

All wireless providers should have the ability to provide their customers with a micro cell. Unless its a clec like straight talk, cricket etc...
That's an ATT solution, needs ATT phones, any thing else like it (non-ATT) ???

I miss rotary dial phones and twisted pairs.

My grandad was a country doc in Lebanon kentucky. Made rounds in his horse and buggy. After the last stop, he'd nap all the way home. Horse knew the way.
