The way you have to look at this is: the earth really IS flat, it only appears roundish due to a defect in our eyes that curves things. It is the exact same problem with camera lenses. Look at your eyeball - see the curve! Look at lenses - yep, curve! That's the problem.

There is no sense even thinking about fixing it, that curve thing is important to our eyes so we can use bifocal vision to judge distance. Any time the distance goes beyond what your eyes (or a camera/telescope lens) can focus, the image seems to curve. Can't help it - pure optical illusion.

The fakers and schemers who faked the moon landings and all that silliness will be exposed when Area 51 is finally opened and we get to see the ladders those aliens used to get here. And I can't wait until the real facts come out and everybody finds out it was the communists who assassinated Abe Lincoln. Poor John Booth was innocent.
