I'm just getting into bow hunting are these any good? I don't want to spend a bunch of money on one. Thanks

I bought one for a backup rangefinder. I've used it and my wife has used it over the last 2 seasons with no real complaints. The only negative I've had with it is on the 3D range. Sometimes it won't read on a black target.

For some reason there is a bunch that will not read black foam, I run into guys struggling with it shooting 3D.

I am not generally a Leupold guy, but my $200 Leupy has done a great job for me.

Think it is about 8 years old and never even needed a battery.

Good luck.
