So I know we can't bait bear here in GA, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with scent attractants / if those are legal.

That is not true.
Attractants are legal as long as they are not a food source. For instance you can use anything that smellslike acorns, apples, chestnuts, berries, etc - as long as it is not made from food. Read the regulations. You are doing your fellow hunters a disservice by volunteering inaccurate information. I do not write this to critize you, merely to provide you with the facts.

Yes I was solely thinking of vanilla scents, the honey smoke bombs, etc. I deleted the inaccurate original post.
