Bear Scouting

Going to try my hand at bear hunting this upcoming season. Any advice on scouting for them in the swamps of South Georgia? Found some tracks today while turkey hunting and was looking for some advice on where to go from there. Thanks in advance.

Get on a club that run's them with dogs and baits the fool out of them if you want to kill one. I hunt Dixon Memorial WMA for 15 years and saw two during shooting hours and they were both out of range. They tend to move at night and the swamp is pretty thick not saying it won't happen but it will be a tough hunt and good luck to you...

I can't tell ya much about South ga. But the national forest in North ga is pretty good hunting. I've killed 3 in the last few years
