I only see them here in Southwest Georgia from about now till late summer. They nest here then migrate elsewhere in the winter. Never have seen one in the fall, winter, or early spring.

I just started seeing them again last week.

Never seen those before, look similar to canaries.
Its amazing at how you can live somewhere your whole life and then see a creature that is "common" for the first time.
A few years ago I saw a Scarlet Tanager, 1st and only one I've ever seen.
This year I have seen a number of Black headed grosbeaks, males and females. Dont recall seeing them before either.
