I enjoyed hearing the tail gate drop at a little after daylight on a cool morning, and the way your heart would beat a little faster when that first hound opened. Miss it more than any kind of hunting that I ever did. Still plan to go one more time fore I leave this old world. Met some of the finest people I ever knew running Dogs in Stewart county and the woods in Colquitt county. I just want to hear them run.

You got that right KD, if that don't get your heart pounding nothing will! Hard to explain or to get people to understand but I've made some believers! Good luck to those who get to go this weekend, as always be safe!

Grew up running dogs in VA as a kid. Love to her them when thy jump.
