camper converter problems

my converter went out just wondering if ther is anyway to do away with the converter and battery all together because i never use the battery. its a 2004 pioneer 23t. and really dont have a extra $200.00 with the way gas prices are.

you could get rid of the battery, but not the convertor. it charges your battery and runs your 12v items when plugged in. i.e. furnace, frige, a/c controls, lights.
your other option is to hook a battery charger to your battery.

ok another question my frige works fine,but the lights want work but when i turn the microwave or the ac on as soon as it comes the lights come on and my meter shows the battery is charged is that the problem the converter?
