Decided to have poor man's burnt ends today. I also did corn on the cob and Vidalia Onions ,all on the Akorn. I marinated the chuck roast in my Montreal Seasoning concoction for a few hours before I threw it into the smoke.
I cook my chuckies with a liberal dose of your steak magic on them, too. Never tried to make burnt ends outa them, however.....gonna have to give that a go.
Just peeled, and cored the top a bit. Then put a quarter stick of butter up in the cored area and loosely foiled. I cooked them,butter end up, until translucent on my Akorn.
