Clovis point scraper

Here's what I think is a clovis point that apparently broke at the haft and rather than be tossed was chipped to be used as a scraper. I didn't realize this until I saw a picture of a like whole point in Overstreet. Notice that the bases are almost exactly the same.

Used as a scraper it would sure gouge scores in a stretched hide. Also, are the sides and base heavily ground?

I`d say you have a Clovis base then. Can you take a couple of shots of the actual break, at different angles?

Right side 1/2 of end is not chipped. Still shows break line. Could it be used to score bone ore something.

The best I can do....it's mounted on a board with other clovis-like stuff.

I was hoping to be able see if it was an impact break, but can`t tell. You have some nice Paleo stuff there, and a really nice Clovis point.

Are all those Georgia finds?

I agree, I have found stones that were about, as big, as 50 cent piece and sharp, on all sides , scrapers I figured..
