Cohutta Shot distance

Hello folks, I have enjoyed reading all your posts on bear hunting in North Georgia, I have hunted bears in other states but never here in Georgia with the methods it looks like you all are accustomed to. I am wondering what type of visibility your getting while hunting bears on acorns in Cohutta during the Archery and early muzzle loader season. If you have killed bears on Cohutta at that time what was your shot distance? Thanks for your replies

My last 4 have been within 50 yds. Shortest 8 yds, longest 50 yds.
