Cohutta this weekend

Good Day All,

I am normally a spinning real guy, but I wanted to try a couple flies on a camping trip to the Cohutta this weekend. I expect to fish sections of stocked stream part of the time and natural part of the time.

Can you guys give any suggestions in terms of flies for beginners?

I've only ever fished Cohutta in early fall, but I had more luck with nymphs than dries when I did. I think any of your generic nymphs will do well: copper johns, pheasant tails, hare's ear, etc. For dry flies, the wild trout always seem to respond well to orange stimulators. Good luck!
