Coming weekend trip on the Hooch, Duncan to Belton

Taking my stepson and kayaks this weekend. Any tips on fishing this stretch would be appreciated. Preferred baits, areas to look for, dont's other than not wearing life jackets.

Cannot go wrong with a Zoom Finesse, green pumkin worm, texas rigged with the smallest worm weight you can get. Cast towards limbs, logs, and the bank, they will hit it while its falling and either thump it hard one time or just take off swimming with it. If you try and fish any moving water, I would suggest trying to target the small slack pools behind a small rapid, as the weight is so light the bait will just take off down current.
