Controlled burn

Just got the news from camp this past weekend that they are getting ready to burn our property. They are in there today marking the fire breaks and are planning on starting before Thanksgiving. From what I understand they are going to burn sections at a time. It may or may not mess up the rest of our deer hunting but it will be great for the spring turkeys. I posted here before on how thick some of our property is and how badly it needs to be burned.

Can you say big Foodplot? That's what you will have come spring. I love to turkey hunt a new burn and the birds love it too.

We are planning on doing the same at our place. I needs it BAD!!!!

We need to burn some of our sections too.That will really help the turkeys.
