Coosa river

I plan on putting in at brushy branch Sunday morning before daylight to catch a few shad and then some bream after daylight. When I get enough bait up I plan on fishing for some blues and flats but I have never been up there before and any tips would greatly be appreciated.

I dont know anything about the coosa.

I do know in N.E. Ga the blues are spawning. I caught a couple that were all beat up last weekend. Caught them off of rocks and wood in less than 15 feet of water. Flats are up that shallow too.
