Cover for deer

What kind of plant or grass is very fast growing that you could use for deer cover around food plots and that type of thing.

Egyptian wheat is a great choice. Sorghum and corn also work well. Any of these will provide a screen around the plot and make the deer feel safe.

I’d lightly disc in late winter then do nothing. You should have dog fennel 6ft high by deer season.

I plan on burning my pasture the next couple weeks and was thinking about running over it with a harrow. My plan is to let it grow up and then spray the volunteer trees and that way I can go in later and mow out for a couple foodplots
