Never had a crossbow but thinking about getting one for turkey on my bow only club. Want to stay at $600 or less. Any suggestions .

I had a Barnett Whitetail Hunter II and I loved it! I traded it for another regular compound. It is fast, quiet, lightweight, and compact. I'm wishing I still had it actually just for turkey hunting purposes. Much easier than getting a bird with the bow. I would also highly suggest looking at the Centerpoint Sniper 370 at Cabela's. Tons of good reviews and cant beat the $299 price tag!

I agree on the center point , I bought one for my daughter and me this year , and really like it and it seems like it would last a long time 249$ at Dunham’s sports !

Long story, but I wound up in Nebraska before firearm Season last spring and instead of messing with my bow, bought a Wicked Ridge. I wanted to be able to sit against a tree with no blind and hunt like I normally do. Worked fine. Bird crow hopped once and laid down. By the time I got to it, he’d expired.
