I'm going stir crazy to try and chase a gobbler.
I noticed Alabama has a turkey hunt from mid to late Dec in certain counties and without decoys.
Ive been looking at public land such as Talladega NF.
Anyone had experience hunting this time frame in Alabama? Is it too dangerous with deer hunting going on? If you have hunted this period, can you recommend any public lands to checkout? I don't want your secret spot, just any general areas will help. I also have a bow, if you know of any bow only public areas.
