Di-Lane Quail Hunts--Reward Bands--Shotgun

Hopefully this is OK to post. It isn't a paid raffle.

Those of you hunting Di-Lane may harvest a banded bobwhite or radio-tagged bobwhite. This is great! As long as you are in compliance with the bag limit, we encourage you to kill them at the same rate as non-banded and non-radio-tagged birds. No worries!

Some of these birds will have a reward band! There will likely be about 7-12 of these harvested. Those lucky enough to shoot one of these birds will be entered into a drawing for a nice O/U shotgun. Those are good odds! A gentlemen from the Vidalia, GA area won last year. You must turn your bands and radios into the check station before you leave Di-Lane. This applies to reward and non-reward bands. Thanks for your cooperation!

What a great program. I harvested a banded and radio collard one last year. Sadly it did not have a reward band. It will be extremely interesting to see the results of these studies.
