Early planting?**UPDATE**

At the ten day mark everything looks to be going well. We've had almost 3" of rain since planting. It's hard to see but the rye grass is about 3" tall.

Now that everything is "up" would you fertilize now or wait till it's more established. If so what do you recommend.

You get more bang for your buck if you incorperate the fert into the soil.Without a soil test I would say 400 lbs/acre of 13-13-13 or 300 lbs/acre of 19-19-19.But you will need to do it again as you will only be about 60% effective with spreading it on top of the soil.
