I personally think the best way to find "your" bow is to go shopping at 2-3 proshops with a friend. Have him hand you the bows to shoot (after having them set the same poundage and draw length) and do not look at the brand. You may be surprised which bow you choose.

Best advice I can give you is to go with a 60# bow and max out the limbs. The furthest I have shot a deer in 27 years of bowhunting is 35 yards (I've killed a pile with my bow). 95% were under 20 yards.

A 60# bow is easier to tune, a lot easier to hold, and will kill them just as dead as a 70# bow.

My wife got a complete passthrough on a moose at 15 yards with a lot less than 60 pounds...
