I am a busy body. I have to be doing something all the time. This time of year when I get home from work and am in the house all night due to cold and darkness I litteraly turn crazy. We are just beginning and I can't stand sitting and doing nothing. I'm sure most don't care but for the ones that do care, what do you do to pass time? I'm going insane already!

I drink beer and Build stuff in the garage. Boats and Jeep’s are always good.

I just got off the Lake Sinclair before dark and it was 5:30 but in a few weeks the days will be getting longer again. I like the lake in the winter but I don’t have to work anymore so I am old and ready to take it easy by 6:00 anyway.

Ikr? I’d rather walk around the woods when it’s cold than when it’s hot and snakey

I do most of that stuff during the day, but none of it at night.

Before I started night shift I enjoyed trying new recipes this time of year. I will find Boston butts on sale at ingles and buy several to grind for sausage. I enjoy tinkering with new sausage recipes.
Other than that I help my brother in law build cabinets in his basement or ride around with the wife and look at the wildlife.

I like this time of year. No heat and humidity..Makes exercising outside easier. It's hunting season too. I hate hot weather so I'll take Georgia winters anytime.

I picked up a 1973 Yamaha TX 750 for $600. It’s a really cool looking bike, but you can’t even get the valve cover off without removing the 212 pound engine. Well, this is the 3rd time I’ve pulled the engine, so I have PLENTY to keep me busy! When I’m not doing that, I break out the Landshark beer and Evan Williams and play my guitar also. I don’t think anyone here could endure the set-up I use. From my I-phone to the wife’s Bluetooth karaoke machine to a Sony Stereo amplifier, the sound level is amplified 6 times through 4 speaker towers positioned strategically in my man cave. Then my Ibanez RG is ran through a Rockman sustainer, Rockman chorus, multi effect wah pedal with tons of pre-sets, into a mini Marshall stack amplifier. Boston, Styx, Ozzy, Etc. My favorites to play are Thunderstruck, Styx’s Suite Madame Blue, “Maiden’s Run to the Hills”, Crazy train, and Scorpions....I think I’ll survive the winter!
