Picked up this Diamondback DB-15 in 223/556 yesterday from Sporting Arms in Winterville. Really looking forward to getting it ready to work on the pig population around here. ?FB_IMG_1547871083665.jpg

Best place to find it?

Use your googlefoo to shop for deals. Get on mailing lists from vendors like Aim Surplus, Outdoors Limited, Palmetto State Armory, etc. buy when you see a price you like.

Also, good old Walmart, Academy, etc.

Besides those listed above, try Targetsportsusa.com.
Stay away from steel cased ammo unless that’s all you can afford.
What twist is your rifle?

Please do, help keep the price down so I can buy more.
It’s all yours. Unless it’s for guns meant for the stuff like 7.62x39, I don’t mess with it. My S&W won’t reliably cycle it.

Lacquer coated ammo can gun up the chamber if a firearm is not cleaned.

The non-lacquered steel will not harm a rifle or pistol, may be a tad dirtier due the case not sealing as tight in the chamber as well as brass.

223, 9mm, 45acp, any gun I own will run it fine.

Everyone should try it and make their own choice.

Aluminum, brass, steel, I choot em all!

I like the two-tone look.
Here's mine when I was building it:

I agree. Most steel case is terrible on chambers. I have some but is being saved for **** time...

Should be good from 60-77 grain ammo. 55 sometimes works and I’ve found 68-69 to be the sweet spot for me.

If it’s chambered 5.56, give IMI 69 gr. a try.
