Fishing out of St Simons sound in Sept thru Nov, any general advice on areas for trout, reds sheepshead etc. Are there any towers at the end of the channel?

Depends on what your boat can handle. October/November is awesome here. The big bull reds will be in in October, so gear up heavy. Any of the sand bars in front of the islands with a chunk of mullet or a split crab will land you a big red. Come the end of October/ start of November, the speckled trout will be hot and heavy on about any shallow shelf or point in the sound with shell beds. Sit out in 6-7 feet and fish up in 4-5 feet with a popping cork and a live shrimp 30-36" under the cork.
