Florida Bird Down- Homemade Scratch Box Call

I had to find something positive to post so I'm showing a bird my brother shot in Florida this morning, called him in with one of my homemade scratch box calls....17 pounds, 8 1/4" beard, 1 1/4" spurs....this is the 2nd one he has called in using this box, cool that it is working for him, mine worked too I just can't shoot straight

Yeah, he was pretty excited......Even cooler, my 82 year old pops shot one a few weeks ago as well.

I make my own slate calls. The satisfaction of using your own call to fool a longbeard in close is something you cannot put into words.
