Found A Good Load Today!!!!

Ive tried the Sierra GK but I have been wanting to try the 140 gr Sierra Pro-Hunter in my 7-08. I found a box on clearance at Sportsman last week. I loaded up a few today and headed to the range. I need a chrono cause I would like to know the velocity. Here's he results...

46.5 grs of RL-16, WLRP, Win cases. COL 2.78.. To the best of my measuring abilities I get .318

I used to use the GK exclusively until I tried the Pro Hunter. Just as accurate (at least in my rifle) and a little more heavily constructed than the GK.

I know those shoot n see target are hard to measure, but I’d guess your .318 is real close. Nice shooting ?

Very good. Recently started loading the 117gr Pro Hunters in my 25-06. Very accurate. Really easy to get them dailed in. Took a doe drt last year with them.

When you start getting "old" those shoot n see targets are really handy but like you said, they are hard to measure..LOL
