found some old pics

My folks uncovered some old pics of turkeys at their place. One with a bird I killed with my son there. Most were taken at the old Wellington outlet in madison when they had their little contest.

Use to hunt out from Apalachee north of Madison in early 80's. Always enjoyed stopping in the Wellington store and looking at and getting pictures taken. Brought back great memories . Thanks for sharing.

Yep, that bird had four spurs. The extras were small. Never killed one over all these years with double beards tho, go figger.

The old store there was a neat place and some good folks working there. I miss it.
