Fresh water fishing

It's not saltwater, but this is Coastal fishing. The bream fishing was on fire this weekend. Caught a fish on almost ever cast. Fished for 90 mins and filled the cooler with all we needed for a nice fish fry. Left them biting for another day. Only one out of the bunch had roe. Add cheese grits and coleslaw and it was a tasty meal!

Very nice! Reminds me of days gone by on Bull Sluice Lake in Atlanta. Bream and ultra light tackle are a boat load of fun.

Excellent catch!! Bream are one of my favorite fresh water fish to eat. Tons of good memories over a good fish fry with family and friends here.

I’ve recently moved back to the coast and saltwater fishing by far is my forte. However we have a pond adjacent to our property that’s got some big knotheads about that size. As WalkinDead says bream on ultralight tackle are a handful and tons of fun

I live in Canton and wish I knew of a good spot for bream to take my grandsons. I’m only a few minutes from Allatoona but without a boat it’s not an easy lake to fish.

Are you aware of the pay pond on Macland (sp.) Rd. between Marrietta and Hgwy 154?. Check it out. Nice folks. Bank friendly. Manicured.
