Being an old pottery guy, I love to show the various kinds of wares that were made in Pre-Columbian times. This is some early Ft Walton Plain rims and shows the various treatments made by their fingers. This is much different than the fingernail incised of earlier peoples. This is limestone tempered and the characteristic Mississippian form of short globular bowls. You always learn more from pottery than points.
