GA National Guard Youth Challenge

My son 17 wants to go to the Youth Challenge Program with the GA National Guard. This is a program geared toward kids 17-19 and offers them a military enviroment to get their high school diploma. My son would live at Ft Stewert for about 6 months while he finishes the program.
My son has been in ROTC and really enjoys it. This is as close to the military as he has come.
I am just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with the program and what you thought about it.

From what i've heard it's a good program tell your son good luck if he decide's to do it, probally be the experience of a life time
