Georgia Police Memorial Ride
April 28
Atlanta, GA - Turner Field. Registration starts at 8AM and ride departs at 11AM. $35 for rider and $15 for passenger, includes ride pin, shirt and lunch. 20th Anniversary Ride for Fallen Officers in Georgia. This is a ride for motorcycle enthusiasts who want to show to the people of Georgia that support and recognition of Fallen Law Enforcement Officers is important to everyone. In the year 2011, Georgia lost 10 Law Enforcement Officers while serving the public. Bring all your friends and join in the parade of honor as we ride the streets of Georgia. The ride will be a safe police escorted ride through honor guard teams from many of the participating agencies. The ride will end in Peachtree City, Atlanta Regional Airport. We will have lunch followed by the Fallen Heroes program of honor for the families.

This is a GREAT ride. Usually around 3,000 bikes.
A group of us meet that morning at I Hop in McDonough and ride up as a group if anyone wants to join us.

I hope Y'all have an awesome and safe ride!! Saturday Apr 21 at Cycle World of Athens they are having a public safety appreciation day, and then the first annual Line of Duty Ride afterwards. The first Line of Duty ride was last year after the killing of "Buddy" an athens clarke co. officer. It was a powerful ride, I'm really looking forward to it. Soory to stray, have fun!! God Bless ALL those who serve!!!

I need a bike for just this reason! If only the Mrs. would agree. I think my Taco would stand out like a sore thumb in the bike procession. :(

Nice to see folks supporting out local law enforcement!
