With the Commie PLA ready at the border I wouldn’t bet against you.

I talked to a few of the protesters on Sunday at the airport and they are passionate about it. And I don’t blame them. They feel the HK govt is not protecting freedoms from the Commies. And I agree with them.

I got an idea. Let's see if we can orchestrate a swap. We can trade 2 for 1 our young socialist minded individuals for their young freedom minded individuals. Should be a win - win for both parties. Our commies will get what they want and we'll gain some people who appreciate the individual freedoms bestowed upon them.

And they are willing to work at an actual job

The young folks in HK are by and large good kids. Much better behaved, respectful and much more disciplined than the average US kid. And I don't blame them for protesting. They want a say-so in their own future. But a lot of the older people there don't support the protests. They don't see the problem, and don't like violence.
