GPS trolling motor

Brainstorming a way to deploy shark baits..... It looks like the GPS trolling motors of today could easily do this???? A small kayak, with a trolling motor attached with the shaft shortened... to maybe 14 inches. If the Kayak was almost rounded, then the boat would flip itself back over if capsized due to the trolling motor weight of the foot being the heaviest, lowest point. I have not used this type since 2000, when they first came out. If I recall, you can create waypoints that it will go to? It might require a escort out once in a larger boat to create the way points? I don't know...... trying to recall. I have an old first generation trolling motor from 2000, a $1600 trolling motor that I could experiment with..... if someone verifies they work the way I recall???? Seems they had a depth tracker..... a bank tracker...... and the deepest point tracker...... I can't recall if it had waypoints. Do the newer versions have programable waypoints?

Are you wanting to deploy the kayak to drop baits using a trolling motor only...no paddler?
