We have been busy at the lease getting some areas cleaned up under some live oaks . We will spray them in a few weeks and finish clean up ,then adjust the soil as needed and plant .

We try to do some each year.
Like your lease we lease from a private landowner. They have been really good to us.

I’ve been trying to plant corn every year at my local WMA, the deer, turkeys, and ducks eat it before it can sprout though. I’ll keep trying and hopefully one year it will take root.

I have a spot that looks just like that. It gets burned every three years and shooting lanes mowed every fall. Very productive stand.
