Habitat Management

I'd love to see a sub forum or more threads on habitat management. Prescribe fires, TSI, managing for native forbs/grass, promoting beneficial native forage. I love this food plot section as I've learned a ton. But could be we possibly get something going for people who may not be able to afford the equipment/seed/herbicides or don't have the means to acquire that stuff? Not everyone can afford that kind of stuff but could possibly afford promoting native forage!

It's just an idea. You won't hurt my feelings by shooting the idea down at all, I'm open to yes and no's!

In my humble opinion from a budget minded perspective, you could go as simple as thinning the tree canopy in a couple of spots and fertilize the ground below!
