Help me with this new format, please

Can some one help me with new Woody's board format? I notice that when I click on a post, it takes me to the most recent post first. I then have to either scroll down or go to the LAST page to get the first post. This only happens if I am logged on. If I go to Woody's without logging on, I can pull up a post and the first thing I see is the first post - this is what i like.
How do I change the order of the posts so they are in descending order starting with the first post?

Go to user CP, then edit options and change to "linear Oldest First" in the drop down box
