What are the rules for hikin on a WMA during deer season. My girlfriend wants to go the next sunday (the 18th), and the only place i know well enough to go hiking up is the blue ridge WMA, cuase ive spent time hunting on it and have scouted out some pretty areas. thanks for your help--Bubba

most of them dont allow hiking before 10am.
Also if its gun season , she should wear
safty orange. I would suggest some orange even
in bow season also.

You can still hike anywhere on the AT....

hunters have to be off the trail a minimum distance...

during bow season I wouldn't worry , during rifle season make sure you wear a hunter orange vest...

git on out there and enjoy the hike....
