Sittin out here where they were gobblin pretty good yesterday morning. Not a peep today so far. Rain commin. Looks like another year of being skunked.

2 gobbles off the roost was all he would give....I sit on a creek bottom for a couple hrs with no action....now I'm on edge of a foodplot in case the rain leads them this way....tough season for sure....haven't worked a bird all year that would respond other than this one that I'm hunting now and he only responded 1 time 2 weeks ago...I told my wife I might be home by dark....lol

After the rain stopped he gobbled to my purring and clucking . Tag out been a great year for gobbling. He was not the bird I've been hunting but looks like turkey nugget for supper.

No luck for me....a black snake 1 hen and a coyote saw on way driving out was it....come on March 2019!
