How do you pick a fertilizer mixture

I’d just go with 17-17-17 and call it good. You’re not a farmer trying to maximize yield for profit. Didn’t see your ph but if it’s not above 6 I would concentrate on that first.

Put out lime last weekend. Only put out 2 tons as our funds are running low and our backs are weak... We've put out 19-19-19 the past several years but thought I'd ask if there was a sensible way to hit these recommendations.

I was bored in a hotel room in St Louis, MO, so see what you think. You could get more precise to save a few bucks but this was the simplest way of doing it.

I understand funds being low but lime is referred to as the poor mans fertilizer. When your ph is correct, you will see better results with less fertilizer as opposed to using fertilizer when the ph is incorrect.
