Hunting Holster?

What type of holster are you using for a large pistol? I recently got a Ruger Single Action with a 7 1/2" barrel. When I'm hunting I usually use a climbing stand that faces the tree, Thanks Dave

Hi Dave , i usually use a bandolier style holster that is worn across my chest . It is out of the way , and easy to get to . The pistol i carry in it is a 6 1/2 inch 629 classic with a scope . That is just what works best for me . SCOTT

I use a Ruger BH 44 with a BSA Red Dot. The best scope I found for the $ was at Cabel's.
