Hunting over soybean fields on an WMA?

I was doing some scouting on an WMA and came across a huge soybean field designated a “wildlife food plot“. My question is this…Is it legal to hunt over one of these fields. This particular field was planted amongst hilly and dense terrain, with a stream bordering it on one side. I did notice both deer and hog signs, so I’m thinking another trip back during firearm season is in order.

Before that day comes, I plan on calling the Game Tech for that area and asking them about the “legality” of soybean field hunting. But if anyone can give me the question now, I would appreciate it.
