I have a question...

I killed a maiden doe Saturday morning and there were brief comments about the quality of the meat...

Today, I left camp after the morning hunt to attend a family reunion with my Mother... and as I was leaving Dad said, "Just leave the meat and I'll bring it on Wednesday..."

I've thought about those comments till now...

Now here's my question...

Should I, upon Dad's arrival on Wednesday, check closely to see if there are any backstraps left?

I'm guessing your post was meant as a joke?!! ::huh: Sounds to me like those back straps are marinading for the grill from the time you pulled out of camp but what the hay.....it's a loooooooog deer season and there are plenty 'nuff does to fill your freezers. :bounce: :bounce:

I dunno about giving Vernon 3 days with those back straps?? ;)

I can hear it now --- a pack of blood thirsty Coyotes or -- Bin Laden and his boys sneaked in here one night! ::huh:

Good luck!

I hope the straps were used as bait for the picture posted under Fact or Fiction ;)
