Nice one! That black chert builds up a white patina on the surface when it's exposed.

Thanks gentlemen. Since I'm no expert, what type point would you think? Or maybe Hillbilly is describing it as Knox.

No, Knox chert is the material it appears to be made from. As to type, my guess would be a late-stage unfinished Woodland-era stemmed point of some type. Probably around 2,000-1,000 years old.
