Man that is the "DEER CAPITAL OF GEORGIA"
Ya had to go there...

Jasper County has great hunting and fishing. There is A LOT of National Forest land in and around Jasper County and you have Jackson Lake, the Ocmulgee River and Lake Juliette is just outside of Jasper.

Jasper Co deer have good genetics and it produces a few woppers every year, almost all the private land is hunt clubs and the National forest land is nothing but pines and its hunted hard , the population has been down for the past 5+ years making for tough hunting . That being said I wouldn't give up My jasper co land for nothing.

I've lived and hunted in Jasper County since 1999. Good place to live and great hunting. Welcome to the neighborhood.
