Jekyll island crabbing and shrimp seining april

Hi. Headed out to Jekyll island in April and was wondering if the shrimp were on the beach at this time for some cold bait shrimp seining (checked with Georgia department of natural resources and its legal to seine bait shrimp at this time...just didn't know if theyd be on the beach this time of year). Also wondering how the crabbing was this time of year and if the pier was a good spot. Any info on crabbing, shrimping, surf fishing this time of year would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much luke
