Just got a 250 "Ga tax refund"

We got ours last week on the same day that we received our new property tax statement.

The $500 dollar kickback of our tax money will not even cover what my property tax increased by.

So I filed my taxes back on March, got my refunds about 2 weeks later.
Today I check my bank account and a 250.00 Ga tax refund posted on May 16, 2022.
I had heard they were talking about a check for "gas help" but I though that was the feds.
Is Kemp trying to buy votes?
Anyone else get one?

There was a several billion dollar surplus in the state budget, so they sent refunds to tax payers. This was not a handout, this was a return of money that shouldn't have been collected in the first place.

Same here. Just got my Cobb county tax bill in the mail and it has increased by about 40%.

Well 250.00 will almost get you a single shot rifle, but not a one eyed dog that is worth a hoot.
